Limelight

Limelight – Skin Redness, Tiny Veins, Brown Spots and Sun damage

The LimeLight is a new, non-invasive approach to skin rejuvenation. The procedure offers the advantage of improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with ageing and photo damage.

It is a non-invasive light treatment that can be customised according to skin type, condition and treated area. It’s the heating of the pigmented brown or red cells in the skin that causes the therapeutic effect.

The Lime Light procedure is ideal to treat any part of your face, neck and décolleté. It specialises in treating imperfections such as;

  • Brown spots
  • Skin diffuse redness
  • Telangiectasia (tiny veins)

It can also be used to treat brown spots over other parts of the body.

Treatment time depends on the area of the body being treated. However, most treatments should take less than one hour. When the pulse of light is delivered, patients will experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. Topical local anaesthesia and gel are applied to numb and cool the skin before treatments.

Immediately following treatment, brown spots will start to darken and your skin may appear slightly red and may be mildly swollen. This typically lasts a few hour, possibly a day or a little bit longer. Make-up can be applied.

Usually 1-4 treatments are required 3-4 weeks a part according to the treated condition.
