Cutera ProWave is the latest technology in Pulsed Light hair removal for all skin types and tones. It is a very effective and safe procedure for permanent unwanted hair reduction anywhere in the body.

Using this machine, we are able to use a special hand-piece attachment to treat  large areas of the body quickly and safely for patient benefit.

There are three stages: a “growth phase,” a “transition phase,” and a “resting phase” and hairs are always growing at different stages.

ProWave treatment works by stopping hair development in the “growth phase” and as such may require up to 6 treatments to completely eradicate hair growth

There is minimal discomfort associated with ProWave treatment, and therefore no anesthesia is needed. Some patients report feelings of mild pinching or stinging as the hand piece delivers its laser light.

There is usually no downtime and you are able to immediately return to work. Some redness and swelling may occur, which fades quickly over the first several hours after treatment.

3-7 days after treatment you may see some hair regrowing. However, most of these hairs are not actually regrowing but are being shed as a result of the treatment. It is recommended that you do not pluck or wax the treated area between treatments.
