Anti-wrinkle injections are used to reduce dynamic facial wrinkles such as frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines which appear as we use our facial muscles.

These injections are a naturally purified protein treatment that inhibits the neurotransmission of the impulse from the nerves to the muscle preventing muscle contraction. Preventing facial muscles contraction prevents wrinkling to help refresh your facial appearance.

A fine short needle is used to inject the anti-wrinkle treatment with topical local anesthesia or numbness with ice cubes preceding in order to reduce discomfort. There is typically minimal pain and no bleeding involved with this procedure.

Results are generally seen within 3-4 days after the treatment, but can take up to 2 weeks to have their full effect which usually last up to 3-4 months.
